Millsberry International School, situated in the picturesque area of Bansbari, Kathmandu, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher to join our tea . Our institution prides itself on delivering a robust English curriculum that enhances students’ analytical and communicative abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge English Curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments aligned with Cambridge assessment objectives.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Maintain accurate assessment records, student portfolios, and academic reports.
- Organize classrooms and learning resources to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Motivate students through creative and interactive teaching methodologies.
- Maintain discipline and promote positive classroom behavior.
- Participate in curriculum planning, moderation meetings, and departmental activities.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary projects, assemblies, school publications, and other school events.
- Organize and support English-related activities such as debates, writing competitions, and drama programs.
- Attend Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and communicate student progress effectively.
- Engage in continuous professional development related to Cambridge English pedagogy.

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)
Required Experience:More than 5 years
Other Specification
- Mster’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculum in a reputed school will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, composition, and language instruction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with a strong desire for continuous professional growth.
- Passionate about creating a positive, student-centered learning environment.
